It's available- or at least it was, several years ago when I purchased it on Amazon- on a completely official, non-bootleg Region 1 DVD from Xenon Pictures, who seem like a relatively reputable, if small and low-rent, company. The movie didn't appear to be edited at all when I watched it, but who can really say? At any rate, it hasn't been banned or anything like that, to my knowledge.
