Isn't it ironic?
IMDB trivia states that Ian Bannan was fired from this film because he was nervous about kissing another man and then TCM, which, until now, I had the utmost respect for, shows a copy of the film with the kiss deleted. What gives? Has anyone gotten an answer from TCM about the editing of this film? The question is, how many of the films that TCM shows are edited versions?
By the way I saw this film in 1971 or 2 and the scene, which is really tame by today's standards, was shocking. I remember some people walked out. It is a very important scene and the fact that TCM has chosen to show a copy with it edited out is truly unforgivable.
