Where can I get this movie?

I don't have netflicks or whatever it's called.

Anyways where do you think I could find this movie? I remember watching it when I was like 14 (2004, yes I'm still a teenager) on pbs. Back then it just seemed like a movie where some 15 year old nerd was going to get to bang a hot 20 year old woman, and it being relevant to my interests I watched the entire movie. But throughout that session that's all I thought the movie was about, some 15 year old getting laid.

But now after reading all these reviews and comments about the movie, I feel as if I may have missed out on something. I'd also like to understand how such an idea can be "sweet", or how the guy could've been at all traumatized by this experience (I know that had it been me, and any other guy out there, I would've been bragging about it for the rest of my life).

Anyways where do you think I could get this movie? I don't have netflicks and I doubt they'll have it. Blockbuster? Probably not.

I think that unless you live in a tiny town where the only video rentals to be found are in the corner gas station/grocery store, you should be able to find it. I'd be surprised if a standard video/dvd rental place did not carry it. Otherwise, I suspect you could find a copy on Amazon if you have access. Good luck. It was a sweet and moving film!

It's almost impossible to get older or lesser known movies in and around my town. I usually end up just buying on half.com. Sometimes you can get them for $4-5, including shipping, for VHS. And if you watch it once or twice, it's around the same cost as renting.

I believe they have it at hollywood video. The last time I saw this movie thats where i got it from, look in the drama department. p.s. i too saw it in 2004 as a 13 year old. It is a good movie, hope this helped!

I got it from the public library here in L.A.
If Blockbuster or Hollywood Video doesn't have it, try smaller specialty video stores. Good luck. It is a great movie.
