Fantastic widescreen DVD release of this film with StudioCanal print...

You may have to search around a bit but I found an astounding official release of this film from Universal - actually it was released in 2006 and available exclusively in the Benelux through Universal Pictures (Benelux). I got mine on eBay and the great thing about this one is that the print used is from StudioCanal who own the rights so it's straight from their vaults and 1.66:1 anamorphically enhanced. I'm not kidding - the picture displays fantastically with none of the flaws mentioned on other threads on this board. It is a new experience to finally see this film in such a clean state. This is the best release ever of this film. An essential purchase for Charles Bronson or Anthony Perkins fans - it's a pretty good movie which gives a lot of opportunities to study Charles Bronson's acting ability as he is required to display a lot more emotionally than in some of his other roles. I also know that there is an Australian release of Cold Sweat out there from Universal also with a print from StudioCanal but have not managed to get hold of one yet. Happy hunting!
