Horrible improbable ending

No way that master samurai would be killed by some moron. Ending of this movie was stupid and ruined the whole thing for me :(

The "moron" was quite fast with a gun and had been warned.

Actually, Toshiro Mifune stars in Akira Kurosawa's "Yojinbo." In that movie Mr. Mifune plays a samurai who has lost his daimyo, so becoming a ronin. He sells his services as a bodyguard or "Yojinbo." He played the original "man with no name" that was also played by Clint Eastwood in Sergio Leone's remake of the plot, "A Fistful of Dollars."

In "Yojinbo" Mr. Mifune must go up against the one bad guy in town who has managed to put his hands on a pistol. It is a 19th century six-gun, a Colt single action army and therefor something of an anachronism as the movie is set much earlier. I won't tell you how it plays out in case you haven't seen it, but it is much better than the silly ending of "A Fistful of Dollars."

The best diplomat I know is a fully charged phaser bank.
