I have always loved this film.

Ever since I was a kid I have loved this film and feel it is vastly underrated.

When I saw this as a kid I found the movie dull and boring now many many years later I am watching this and I am really glad I have grown to understand it's meaning finally. I appreciate the environment the wonderful vast fresh open wilderness and how it is threatened by pollution war and destruction of the forests. Movie is portraying a message here 43 years ago. We should all as civilised individuals must protect mother nature and contribute towards it preservation.

It's scary so many people don't understand the perils dramatized, are sadly true and getting worse each day. Humans are breeding themselves out of existence. ??????

I just watched this movie at 21 and I absolutely loved it...and you know, I LOVED the soundtrack!!!

Cool that a person of your age enjoyed the film. Was lucky enough to see it on the big screen, last night, and I thought it was great. Discovered it as a child on tv, and loved it.

It's an excellent film. It's a little dated, and as someone mentioned, it is a bit slow paced, but it's otherwise okay.

I've always liked it for what it was.

I love it, too. I can see why some people don't like it but not every film is for everyone :)

Have always loved it myself too since I first saw it in my teens. Upon rewatching it not terribly long ago I unfortunately realised it wasn't without many flaws, however I think the message of the film and how emotionally investing that last scene gets to you still gets me a little emotional. It's just certain scenes and shots which while simply were incredibly effective and something you remember for the rest of your life.
