...after I saw it after dozens of years.

Was surprised how similar the thinking of the three conformists was with guys like them today. Maybe this species never extincts...

Bit confused. You thought it was outdated but then you say it has elements relating to modern times.

I suspect he kinda meant: AT FIRST, I thought it was outdated. Or I USED TO THINK it was outdated. Just guessing.
