Talking bout Shaft

The Review on the page doesn't do the film justice. You gotta understand anything to be able to really get it and appreciate it. Fair enough it isnt for everyone but 6.5 is a bit low for it. This film set standards and is a wonderful peice of history. Shaft is a wicked character and Roundtree is so smooth, not in your Connery way but in a Shaft way.

The remake wasn't bad but for some reason S.L. Jackson has been appearing in some really wank films. Wonder if he reads the scripts. SWAT was terrible and so was xXx. Makes ya cringe.

Back to the original point, Shaft doesn't have an amazing story line but then again its simple enough for most. Roundtree is at his best in Shaft in Africa, Big Score wasn't too bad.

I just like seeing New York in the Seventies you know.

You just gotta watch it!

Then it's best that you just leave this and the sequels alone.
