The Spanish version and the international version

The Spanish cut runs for 92 minutes. It starts with the credit titles, and then contains two key scenes at the factory when Marcos is promoted and then taken to the mincing machine and shown how to use it. Ideas then start to get into his head... These scenes are not in the international version.
The latter is two minutes longer. It opens with a sort of prologue sequence at the slaughter house and then the titles start. The killing scenes are a few seconds longer that in the Spanish version though no more explicit. The pool sequence is a good half minute longer as well, as the two guys take a shower after swimming, and then at Nestor's apartment we have a quite homoerotic moment in the kitchen when Marcos nurses Nestor's cut finger.
For my money, I prefer the Spanish version. The cuts it suffers from are not relevant to the plot anyway, the editing is more coherent and the scenes at the factory bring a nice few moments of black humour.
The English dubbing is atrocious, some of the lines are completely changed because a literal translation wouldn't make much sense to non-Spanish audiences, and even the some of the Spanish names in the titles have been anglicised, which is quite hilarious (VINCENT Parra??!!).
