Other films in this style

Can anyone else recommend to me films that are similar in style to "Blind Terror"? Ive recently seen "And Soon The Darkness" (loved it!), "Twisted Nerve" (pretty good), and I have bought, but still haven't watched "Endless Night". If anyone else can recommend more of these types of thriller/horror films of this period, I would appreciate it.

There's something about those late 60s and early 1970s women-in-peril UK psycho-thrillers. Here's a list including the ones you mentioned:

-Twisted Nerve (Dir: Roy Boulting) 1968
-Assault (Dir: Sidney Hayers) 1970
-Fright (Dir: Peter Collinson) 1971
-And Soon the Darkness (Dir: Robert Fuest) 1970
-Endless Night (Dir: Sidney Gilliatt) 1972
-Deadly Strangers (Dir: Sidney Hayers) 1974
-Straight On Till Morning (Dir: Peter Collinson) 1972
-Diagnosis: Murder (Dir: Sidney Hayers) 1974
-Blind Terror (Dir: Richard Fleischer) 1971
-I Start Counting (Dir: David Greene) 1969
-Frenzy (Dir: Alfred Hitchcock) 1972
-The Spiral Staircase (Dir: Peter Collinson) 1975
-The Night Digger (Dir: Alastair Reid) 1971
-Scream - and Die! (Dir: Jose Larraz) 1973 Spanish director working in UK
-Night Watch (Dir: Brian Hutton) 1973

Also, a couple of earlier movies of note which were in fact the start of the British Psycho-thriller trend:

-Cover Girl Killer (Dir: Terry Bishop) 1959
-Out of the Fog (Dir: Montgomery Tully) 1962
-The Impersonator (Dir: Alfred Shaughnessy) 1960
-Urge to Kill (Dir: Vernon Sewell) 1959

What Became of Jack and Jill? (1971) is a good one.

"The Vanishing" with Jeff Bridges is even better than the Dutch original movie.

There's a movie I like a lot called "When a Stranger Calls." No one is blind in it, but there's an extremely deranged killer and the movie is very suspenseful.

For those who like blind girls in peril, there's always "Wait Until Dark" and "Blink."

Jennifer 8. is also not bad in my opinion (which does have a blind girl in peril.....Uma Thurman)

Not of the same period exactly, but it has some similar elements: Eyes of a Stranger (1981).

Wait Until Dark is made along the same lines as Blind Terror but IMO is a much better and more suspenseful film. As mentioned by other posters Jennifer 8 is pretty good too.

And Soon the Darkness is indeed great.

Wait Until Dark with Audrey Hepburn of course.

And see the original Dutch film The Vanishing. Skip the Hollywood remake which completely ruins the ending. AS Hollywood remakes usually do.
