Out on DVD?

Does anyone have any idea of whether or not this will be released on DVD? I can't believe this isn't already available. Any other fans out there?

Haven't seen the movie, but just came across a dutch DVD release.

I'm dutch myself and if a DVD has come out in the Netherlands....then the chance is HUGE that is has come out in the rest of the world also

would be good; but i´m not so sure.

i saw that film a lot of times some decades before, also "salt of the earth". both were real "kult" and seemed immortal ... and then, suddenly: no more in cinemas, never on tv, no dvd ... nothing! it was unbelieveable.

during the last months i often thought of them; i want to see them again ...

cheers

It was released in Canada and America in late 1990s. However, after short stint, the VCI entertainment Co. has ceased to produce that copy. Currently an Italian DVD with original italian language and optional spanish subtitle is the only copy that is available.

Major disappointed. I saw it 'way back when it came out and it really touched me. My SO has never seen it, but is dying to. Eh... Maybe it'll be on television eventually.

Thanks!

Hi drrogrigohermida,

Could you please send me a link of a store in Chile or website that sells the DVD in the original Italian language with Spanish subtitles as well as the other release with English subtitles?

Amazon US is also selling another earlier Italian release from 2012, in Italian language (with no English subtitles) as well as in English. (I´d assume that this English version would be a translation of the original Italian version). It´s selling for USD $35.69 and it is in PAL/Region 0 DVD: it WILL NOT play on standard US DVD player. You need multi-region PAL/NTSC DVD player to view it in USA/Canada: http://www.amazon.com/Sacco-Vanzetti-Cyril-Cusack/dp/B008U0XSAG/ref=sr_1_2?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1437969387&sr=1-2&keywords=sacco+and+vanzetti&refinements=p_n_format_browse-bin%3A2650304011&pebp=1437969726442&perid=1M16Z1ZTAGD4054F3V7F

Amazon France is selling a Blue-ray DVD for $USG 9.98 in Italian and in French, not in English: http://www.amazon.fr/Sacco-Vanzetti-%C3%89dition-Collector-Volont%C3%A9/dp/B00NX43W6O/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1437976899&sr=1-1&keywords=sacco+et+vanzetti

I´ve seen this amazing film, ¨Sacco and Vanzetti,¨ when it was initially released worldwide in its original language (Italian) with subtitles. I would love to see it again in its original 1971 version and I am curious about the new 2012 release in English. I´d like to find out if the mixture of Italian voices of Italian actors with the English voices of the English-speaking actors is a well-achived job.
