What things are cut in the 87 min (US) version?

I just obtained an old VHS copy that list's the running time as 87 minutes and it shows that as the shorter version here. I assume they took out some gore and nudity? Anyone know how much it changes it?

A cool listing of the scenes/details cut would rock. But I'd at least like to know what impact it has on the film.

Thanks!

The US version doesn't lose much, it's just that some
of the scenes are shortened. For example, the end sequence
of the director's cut plays a little slower, but it doesn't
really add anything tremendously important.
If you're looking for more sensational scenes you won't
find them on the director's cut.

"The original U.S. theatrical release was cut by approximately 12 minutes to obtain an R-rating. The "director's cut" released by Anchor Bay is the complete and uncut version of the film, containing all the violence and nudity."

I have a VHS copy that has a run time of 87 minutes, compared to the 100 minute version shown for the uncut film. So I'm wondering if those 12 minutes were the ones that made the rating difference. Thank so far.

I've found a version on amazon that claims to be 201 minutes. Does anyone know anything about this?

I think they're referring to the running time of the whole set which includes the complete co-feature, The Blood Spattered Bride.

In the UK, the original theatrical release did not include the last scene, in which the vampire is shown to have survived and goes off with another couple. In the cut version, the car crash and impalement was the final scene.

Also cut was some of Delphine Seyrig's rapturous monologue about historical atrocities, I think when she's talking about sticking needles into people.

You don't miss much, maybe some nude scenes but that's about it. If you have netflixs you can see the 100 mins movie. 1 hour and 40 mins = 100 mins

I've only seem the longer version and I feel it really does drag a bit. Pacing is a problem.🐭
