soundtrack

I've loved this film for many years. The music is fantastic. Please does any one know where I can get the music? I love it! x

The album details are:
Les Levres Rouges Francois de Roubaix Barclay 61 441 L, 1970. 61,441 copies were pressed.

Expect to pay a lot (really, a huge amount - $100+) of money for an original, though.

Here's the main theme on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFHAk7zfAHo

You can put that URL into Zamzar and they'll convert the file into an mp3 (or whatever type of audio file) for you to download.

The complete soundtrack seems to only consist of two tracks as far as I can find, but I haven't found anywhere that has both that isn't long-expired.

As far as buying it -- yes, it must be very hard to find and hence pricey.

I did find a blog with practically every other song that the composer did, though: http://pauldurango.blogspot.com/2009/03/francois-de-roubaix-megapost-real-200th.html

Easily found: do a search on Francois de Roubaix and you'll find at least 3 classic compilations + various this and that.
The blond angel could play every instrument and was one of the pioneers of synthethisers in France along with JMJarre.
"Sadly", he was also passionate about deep diving and... this is how he died, at a young age. When Fance started its own Oscars in 75, de Roubaix deservedly received it for the best soundtrack to "le vieux fusil" (by Robert Enrico who employed FDR on all his movies)
-his father accepted it posthumously.

He's been sampled by the likes of R*bbie Willi*ms and some US rappers recently.

I enjoyed the soundtrack as well. Movies just don't have interesting soundtracks anymore like they did back then. They all sound exactly the same now.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.
