Yeah I noticed that.
I have a funny anecdote that relates: I (being a naughty boy at times in my younger days) had a one night stand with a pretty blonde girl who as it turns out was apparently into the occult. As we were getting "busy" I looked up and saw a rather malevolent looking (and phallic shaped) statue on a shelf over looking her bed looking down on us. I asked her what it was and she replied "Oh don't worry about him, that's just Lucifer." YIKES!
Well a little later (after we were done) we were laying there in bed and she had her back to me, I had at that time been listening to R. Zombie's "Hellbilly Deluxe" album alot and the song "Living dead girl" was always going through my head, anyway we're laying there and I was thinking about getting my *beep* and getting out of there when this girl with her back still to me says "What are you thinking about?" in what seemed to me at the time a perfect imitation of the line from the song!
Well at that point I got my *beep* and took off!
I never saw that girl again and now I can't even remember her name.
At that time I had not yet seen Daughters of Darkness but now it's one of my favorite movies. That line always gives me the creeps though!

The song "Demonoid Phenomenon" also contains a soundbyte from this film. "Don't lie to yourself, it gave you pleasure".

I'd like to challenge today's rockers to come up with some original music instead of just raiding the divine archives of films like this. I'm perfectly capable of watching these films and listening to the soundtracks on my own – and I do – but all these zombified rockers and their films just leave me dead cold.

I think the bit that said "Enjoy that dead girl's body" in Demonoid Phenomenon also came from this film.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

Close -- it's "You enjoyed that dead girl's body", from "You actually enjoyed seeing that dead girl's body!" said by Valerie to Stefan.

And on his new album there is a song called "A Hearse That Overturns With The Coffin Bursting Open." It samples the line "How revolting and yet how interesting" from this movie. I guess it's one of Rob's favorites.

I found this movie, because of that line in the Rob Zombie song. I'm not a fan of his but like the song. I heard the sound-byte and wondered where it came from - it's very ominous sounding. I googled it. At the time, it was difficult to find information about it. I thought it might be a line from "The Last House on the Left". Anyway, found out it was from Daughters of Darkness. So now I'm getting it from Netflix so I can watch the movie.

I love when I'm watching a horror movie for the first time and I recognize some of the audio from a Rob Zombie song.

Death lives in the Vault of Horror!
