I remember it (not so) well

I saw this film when it came out and have never seen it since, but I have always wanted to find it again. I don't know why I remember it at all, nor why I get it confused with "4 Flies on Grey Velvet", which I must have seen around the same time, and is equally memorable. Can anyone explain? Thanks.

Mimsy Framer is in both films, otherwise they don't have alot in common.
She's a crazy nympho in SALINA and a cold, psycho killer in FLIES.
It's a great slice of Euro trash, and the performances are all solid.
Both SALINA and FOUR FLIES are obscure, at least SALINA had a VHS release in the US...those tapes can be found in older video stores or Ebay.

Thanks for the reply and the information.
I regularly went to see films like this in the early 70's, or more accurately, regularly saw lots of early 70's films when there was still a double bill. There are many that I half remember and wish I could watch again but now have have disappearted.

I was a film buff/nut throughout the '70s, seeing virtually every film that came out including the foreign films from Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland and Spain that were exported to the U.S. I even saw a lot of classic porn, or filled in those X-rated blanks later via convenient video releases. I owned a 16mm print of "Four Flies" I used to show to people before Argento became a household name, and "Road to Salina" was my favorite film for a while -I saw it 3 times in a theater in Philadelphia when it came out. Mimsy Farmer is the link between the two, and she starred in a rare 1972 Italian film in the title role "Body of Love" which is a must-see classic but hard to see then and now.

If you have other vague recollections of any '70s films, perhaps a description without a title, feel free to email me via IMDb and I'll perhaps be helpful in bringing back memories. I've kept a diary of every film I went to see since I was a kid, now numbering over 13,000 titles though nowadays I mainly have to rely on video to catch obscure movies since they don't get booked anymore.
