Seems to me Robert Quarry was somewhat under-rated.I would think he would have been perfect for the role as James Bond in his day for example.

Agree completely. Yorga is probably my favourite on-screen vampire, I mean I love Chris Lee's Dracula, but Yorga is just so smooth and fits realistically into a modern world. And Quarry is brilliant and plays it perfectly. Really wish he'd had more heroic roles or more suave/debonair type roles like Bond (though that's what Yorga is like most of the time)

I read somewhere there were plans at one time to bring Count Yorga and Dr. Phibes together in a movie to face off. I really wish that would've happened.

Don't know about playing Bond himself, but Quarry would've made an outstanding Bond villian for certain! Probably one of the most memorable as well!
