Released in Japan in 2004, there is a an official r2 anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1(approx)& original English audio.(Japanese subtitles can be removed).Picture quality is slightly soft but still the best i`ve seen anywhere.The bad news is that the film has been slightly edited for language:1-Brown refuses to drink to the Baron "won`t drink to the Bas****" in wine or milk"-clumsy editing ruins the potency of the line.-----2-Baron receives Blue Max from the Kaiser who actually calls British "sons of bitches" although line has been changed to "sons of British"(????)-----3Brown is on the shooting range & gets called a Bas****.-----4When the nurses are discovered on the airfield a British pilot waves his arms at the German planes & calls them Bas*****.There may be others but this seems strange when the same (quite mild) swear words appear later on in the film without any sign of censorship.Slight annoyance but if anyone knows of another release please post details.Thanks.
