The newspaper reporter who interviews Brown sound like...

I have a pretty good ear for voices and the Toronto Star reporter who interviews Brown after he becomes an ace sounds like Christopher Reeve. I replayed that portion of the film several times and I don't know if it is the voice or the way he stammers but I could almost swear it was Clark Kent.

I know that he had an agent and spent 3 months in England and Scotland immersing himself in the theatre scene there (nice way of saying watching plays and hanging out and drinking with the actors after hours). Wikipedia even says that he helped players at the Old Vic with their American accents. So it is possible. Does it sound like him to you? Anyone know for sure?
