Renata saw father in Simon's boat and did nothing?

When Renata was looking for her father, she is talking with Simon by his boat. I believe Simon denies that he knows whereabouts of her father. Yet something in boat moves (squid) and when Renata uncovers it, she sees her dead father. But she says nothing to Simon about it even though Simon lied about father's whereabouts.

Renata is too shocked and sickened at the time to do anything. Ultimately, she has her husband murder Simon. So she didn't really "do nothing" - she just took her time.

Renata, Albert (her husband), and Simon are all standing there when she discovers the body, and then Renata says to Albert "It's my father!" Then Albert says "So you knew nothing about this?" Simon responds "I found him in the bay." Other than that, there was nothing more to say at that point. Although it was suspect, for all Renata knew Simon could have been telling the truth and just wanted to spare her the shock of seeing her father's corpse that had just been hauled out of the sea.
