Monty Python's Parody

I've just watched "The Meaning of Life" - special edition... The cut scene "The Adventures of Martin Luther" is clearly a parody of this movie, IMO...

Jake: "The Lord works in mysterious ways".
Elwood: "Yep".

Speaking of which, I just saw an episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus in which they parody Pier Paolo Pasolini (how's that for alliteration)... I didn't quite get the references, but it involved a cricket match and a lot of jump cuts... probably pre-dated this film.

I haven't see all Flying Circus episodes, but I'm fairly sure you're referring to "Salad Days", which is actually a parody on Sam Peckinpah.

nup, in this sketch they actually mentioned Pasolini by name in it. It shows a cricket match, the batter is a naked woman, and then everybody turns into skeletons, from memory. Lol, gotta love the Pythons :D

Okay, that sounds great! I will have to check that one out.

Don't forget the rubber nard segment in "Atlantis, the Found Conundrum" or something.

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.
