Dear Syni- UPDATE-
I am still learning to play guitar, but I have just figured out the chords and played a good part of it...it is very simple as a strum:
"And the world never knew his name, but the chosen few know of his fame"
GG DDD GG DD

"come join his company, riding freeeeeee"
G- D--- G---D>>
Then, for a slight lower tone when he goes
'mean and dusty bend, he leans her in just like a friend"
it's more quicker 'back and forth'
then open fret with a single finger on the 3rd fret, lowest string for the lowest note .

OPEN strum and then G and then D once.
it's that simple!
