Amazing Film

One of the best Soviet war films, I would go as far as saying one of the best WWII films in Cinema History, together wtih The Ascent from Shepitko, Come and See from Klimov and The Cranes are Flying. In terms of Cinematography it's fantastic, gives Urusevsky and Yusov a run for their money. Do not miss this masterpiece, Bykov and Solonytsyn are perfect as always. German was definitely a master.
