By a brilliant film maker. The exorcism scene is chillingly realistic. Great performances all around. With Political Correctness today this subject matter would NEVER see the light of day.

Absolutely. This is one of the best horror movies of all time in my opinion and it is very underrated. Not a whole lot of people know about it so I try to recommend it every chance I get.

I likewise concur. This film presents a clear delineation between the haves and the have nots in a way few other horror films would even dare to attempt.
