stage version

Some place in Boston or something did a stage version where can we get the rights to that from, or would we need to get the rights to adapt our own version?

It was also staged in London with ballet dancer Wayne Sleep and actor Bernard Miles in 1976, and then with Mickey Dolenz and Davy Jones (yes: the Monkees!) at the Mermaid Theatre back in 1977. I remember going to see it both times and it was wonderful!

Have a look at The Monkees' Point Page at: http://www.the-monkees.net/shows/ThePoint/. There are mp3 files of the songs from the London production, photos of the play, the original comic book and a review. Riches galore! Oblio and Arrow live!

I have no idea where you'd go for staging rights - you could try contacting The Mermaid Theatre (it's a long shot): http://www.the-mermaid.co.uk/contact_us/enquiry_form.php

Hi There: I am in my late 40s and I saw the stage version when I was 12. I also met Harry Nilsson there and we talked and he signed my albums. They had a lottery in which they auctioned off Arrow, which was a foam rubber puppet. It was performed twice at Trinity Square Theater in Providence Rhode Island. Hope that helps!
