Remake Thoughts

I'm not a fan of remakes, but if this was remade I would like to see it kept to as close to the original as possible. There are plenty of jazz radio stations and jazz festivals, so the premise for the station is possible and keeping it in the Monterey area works as well.

For the cast:

Dave - Clive Owen
Sgt. McCallum - Sean Bean
Evelyn - Vanessa Ferlito
Tobie - Julia Stiles
Al Monte - Don Cheadle

This is as far as I have gotten.

There's already an unofficial "remake" that has been made, Fatal Attraction ^^

Also in a bit of stunt casting, Jessica Walter could do a cameo as Madge Brenner, the woman having a business lunch with Dave.

Funnly enough I came here with the same idea of a remake, never has a film needed it more than this one i think, it's a highly underated film and would be great to see a remake, doesn't really matter who's in it.

Atm I'd agree with the OP, those choices seem really good.

the stalker heroine has to be none other than 'eva green' period! she will blow the roof off with that eye showing neediness and also savagery when she is not attended to!
