I have the film on video and quality is pretty poor. Has it been improved for DVD?

sharedvd cover from 2003 Strand release says "new remastered version", but the color and sound are still pretty crappy, and its only 64 minutes... they pretty much show it all in those 64 minutes, but whats in those missing 6 minutes? has anyone seen both versions?
its also interesting that the dvd cover states "70 minutes" but its really only 64 minutes. Extra credit for having the guts to make this back then - Warhol/Morrissey and J Waters were about the only ones making films like this around that time..
My German dvd for "Pink Narcissus" runs to 64 minutes, although the package claims that it is 71 minutes long as well. However considering the PAL format time change, that would bring the running time to around 70 munutes. I also wonder what, if anything has been cut from the "Strand" dvd that is available in the US. This rare collector's edition is from the German label "Salzgeber" and it comes in a big cardboard box, and includes a set of picture postcards from the film. On the disc there is also a (basically worthless) short film directed by Stefan Hayn called "Fontvella´s Box." The picture is full screen, but this is perhaps how this was filmed, considering it´s limited budget. But I think this is the edition to get.
shareOf course the picture quality is sharper/clearer. But the film does not look to be 'remastered.' So it still has that great "vintage" look, with the scratches in the film and the crackling in the audio. But the colors on the European dvd are incredibly bright and vivid.
