14 years in the making

WELL!!
It was a good movie. Slow in this day and age. But it has charm and dignity.
Yes, the music, songs and dances are 'lilting'. And sad actually.

14 years in production... this should account for the many lapses in continuity.
And hard to imagine Saheb Jaan being nearly 18 years old in the movie. Or Meena Kumari as a dancing girl!
