Aside from the scene where Pleasance molests the protagonist, what was wrong with The Yabba?

Well it strikes me as a rather sinister place with some unsavoury inhabitants. Brutally killing kangaroos isn’t pleasant, and those blokes drink a LOT.

I’m sure for many people it would indeed be a fun place to hang out.
