Similarity to Kiarostami's Close up

Although I have not seen this film, according to Colin MacCabe's bio, Godard attempts at constructing and deconstructing the same film.He seems to fail, acc to MacCabe.But there seems to be a similarity to Kiarostami's CLose UP, where he also does something similar.WHile Kiarostami uses the people in the original event as actors in the re enactment, Godard plays the same speech twice once by the original person interviewed and then by his actor
