You don't get it do you? The women give back as good as they get and end up winning out with promotions to inspectors for them all. Don't you think that is the writers leaving a message in there - and please remember this was the early 1970s when women bus drivers were virtually unheard of hence the threatened feel of the men.
shareExcept that the film spends far more time poking fun at women and even when they're promoted it's done in such a way that the men approve of it. Nah, sorry, the O.P. has a point. The whole film is pretty demeaning towards women. I'm not usually too bothered by stuff like this but this was just bad.
