Check the used record stores, if any still exist. It has an orange cover.
The album is excellent. Two of the songs don't seem to be from the film, and some music from the film I really like is not present. But most of it is worth the search.
I really wish they would produce this on CD.
I know exactly what you mean- there is one song in the movie that they play when Mert is tearing around the track, that is an awesome song but it is not on the soundtack. The best you can do is pull some of it fron the theatrical trailer on the DVD.

the soundtrack is long out-of-print and never reissued. i have the original lp in mint condition and would be glad to cut it on cd for anyone who needs it.
i check these boards daily so leave your email addy here and i'll email you for details.
the lp i have is for sale but yes, as mentioned earlier, it is expensive.

This excellent soundtrack is finally available on CD. It's an import so it's a little pricey, but well worth it. Try www.gemm.com or www.musicstack.com
