was this released theatrically in the usa?

hello. i have noticed over the years that there is ''no'' official trailer or movie poster available for this film. ive read the imdb theatrical release date & it says 1971 in mexico, followed by usa ''tv'' premiere 1973. was it sold to television by it's distribution company? id like to find out more about this fun little film. there isn't much information available on it.
