tragic ending

Not your typical Hollywood ending...Pier Angeli appearing in a mini-budget B movie and committing suicide the same year. Makes you wonder about the beautiful faces and the "beautiful" lives they lead.

Will Britany, Paris, Lindsy and all the other young but beautiful wastrels follow suit?

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

It's very tragic. Suicide isn't the answer, but I'd be pretty miserable too if my career fell to such a low point.

This is Dorsia?

She was offered The Godfather, and would have been great in it.

reply

I wonder what role she was offered. What a shame.

Hey, 'Octaman' is pure fun on celluloid. It's not like she was in 'Skydivers' or anything. I think he suicide was for a different reason.

I remember them times... Woman her age could never be thought of as attractive. I read she feared turning 40. Now it isn't uncommon for women in their 50's to still be 'Hollywood' attractive without any plastic surgery.

Since she has a twin sister it isn't too hard to find out she would have been beautiful for a long time.

Suicide really is a 'permanent solution for a temporary problem' in most cases.
