Any relation to Murphy's Law
Does this movie's title relate at all to old saying about Murphy's Law? (If it can go wrong, it will) Is there a connection, or is the title just a coincidence?

shareI doubt it...
And I don't know how much it relates to films like:
Emma's War
Hart's War
<insert name>'s War
Perhaps "Murphy's Law" with Charles Bronson relates to the saying

...if you search for Murphy's Law you'll find several other films with that title.
Maybe it's just coincidence, but that does give the title a new level of meaning. Every thing Murphy did came back at him in a wrong way.
shareI don't think it's a coincidence at all. Murphy's War and Murphy's Law - just hearing the name of the movie for the first time people would think it sounded familiar. That's got to be good for selling a movie.
shareMurphy was also the name of the unlucky policeman later transformed to a robocop in RoboCop. Coincidence???

No.
shareMurphy was the name of the RNAS pilot killed by the u boat captain in the hospital.
shareWithout a doubt. The film was made during vietnam in which the statement was made:
WE HAD TO DESTROY THE VILLAGE IN ORDER TO SAVE IT
going around killing old people & kids is what our army did. And they collected ears for "body counts"
The enemy was US! We had no reason to be there. They did nothing to us.
