where are their daddies?

i was quite suprised when she was concerned about how much younger he was, couse i actually thought he looked older than her. but who cares, it's just the hippest, most enjoyable film. another thing is when they were gathered to meet each others parents, and it's both of their mothers sitting there, and their fathers are nowhere to be found. that was funny. maybe there was an explaination to that, i didn't see the whole flick.

Minnie reveals that her father is dead in the scene with her blind date. Her date guesses that both her parents are still living and she corrects him. I assume Seymour's father is dead, since when he visits his mom near the beginning of the film he's not around.
