The Intruders (on BBC America)

While I was watching the penultimate episode of this series, it suddenly struck me that this is basically a reworking of The Mephisto Waltz with a jazz trumpeter rather than a classical pianist and with the wife rather than the husband having her body "intruded on" by another person. And the husband wants to get his wife back rather than vice versa. There are a lot of different details, but it's basically the same plot minus Satanism.
