I saw it...

Since there are very few posts for this film I thought I would put down my reactions after seeing it, since people might come here out of curiosity for the film.

Well... I think the premise was a great one. Overall, I wasn't very into this film. Some great scenery, some nice scenes. But overall, it was very confusing. Too confusing for me to find it scary. The characters all overact and act strange, in a manner similar to films like The Ninth Configuration. The idea is that there's some great secret that, once we learn it, will explain everything. But the ending was a big let down for me, not worth the buildup.


Orson Welles does a nice job, but he's really not into this film much. The main character is kind of dull and lifeless. I'd say, skip this one.
