high budget or low budget?

something about certain scenes make me believe this is low budget. is this true?

If you are comparing with Hollywood budgets of the time, yes this is low-budget, as all other Italian/Euro giallos/horror/crime/exploitation films of the era.

Low budget by Hollywood standards but by Italian standards, I'd imagine it was one of Fulci's higher budgets as he was able to get Rambaldi, Morricone and British actor Stanley Baker. Also, I think he used camera dollies and cranes and this looks a lot less like a home movie than some of his later work, such as THE GATES OF HELL (1983).
