Waterfalls in 'Lawman'

Can anyone help me identify the twin waterfalls shown in "Lawman?" The film was supposedly shot in Mexico, but I'm having a hard time trying to find out exactly where. The fishing scene shows a small lake or bend in the river that has two waterfalls that are absolutely gorgeous. Inasmuch as such things are my true passion, I'd certainly appreciate any help in tracking them down.
Thanks!

The scenery in question is in a mountainous area near Durango in northern Mexico, and has been used in more than a few films (MAJOR DUNDEE had one scene shot at that very location in 1964). Indeed, Durango was the big place to shoot westerns during the 1960s and 1970s.

'True Grit', the original.

Surely you can't be serious.

Don't remember them in True Grit, and I've watched that film many times, but do remember them from the Dukes version of The Alamo.

The river in question has been in a few john Wayne movies. Including, Big Jake, the Sons of Kate Elder, and True Grit. And probably more, I've seen that river and falls in other westerns.

I am thinking perhaps, just perhaps, that area was used in SHOWDOWN, with Rock Hudson and Dean Martin. I have not researched this however.
