How much nudity?

I know there's female nudity in this but someone mentioned you see the Creature nude too! Is that true?

reply

IIRC there's less nudity in the PD version. That would be the print that's done the rounds on just about every budget DVD label. Not sure about the nudity differences in the non PD version.

at least 8 breasts shown at least 2-3 times each.

In a manner of speaking, yes (just a butt, IIRC). I'd have to spoil the movie to explain.

There's tits and ass from what I recall, and that's about it. A bit of nice gore thrown in too for a public domain film that can be easily acquired.

There is no "creature" nudity in either version included on the Shout! Factory "Vampires, Mummies & Monsters" set (see below). Several female victims and Rosalba Neri are seen topless, and one victim and Ms. Neri also show their bums, but no full-frontal at all. The male nudity referred to in the "Director Quotes" post here on IMDb is nowhere in evidence, so that's still a mystery to be solved.

The S!F set includes both the 84-minute (83:37) edited U.S. release version and an "international" extended edition pieced together from three different prints: the U.S. version, a satellite broadcast, and what appears to be a VHS copy. The quality of the satellite broadcast footage is inferior to the U.S. version, and the VHS footage is even worse.

As far as nudity and violence/gore, the footage removed from the U.S. release and re-inserted to create the "extended" edition contains none. All the re-inserted footage consists of plot/character development bits, not additional nudity/gore. The extended edition runs 95:44, just for the record.
