The Region 1 widescreen DVD of this superb but unfortunately forgotten 1971 film will be released by Paramount on 23 August 2005. Highly recommended for students of the history of lighter-than-air aviation and polar exploration as well as fans of Sean Connery's lesser known films.

You know, I saw this movie in 1971, and it made a n enormous impression on me. So much so that, when it crossed my mind yesterday, I decided to look it up on the IMDB - what DID we do without this facility?! I am so gald it is on DVD - Amazon .com here I come.
