Saw this movie in 1971 at

The Drive Inn. I was only five years old when my parents took me. This is going back to 1971 when it was released so I have a very vague recollection of it. But it scared the day lights out of me. I Haven't seen it since so I'd probably laugh at it but one scene in particular gave me nightmares for years, when the monster I think attacked a smooching couple in a car, all I remember was the roof of the car being ripped off and the dumb head crying as it was happening.
