ASSAULT 1971 directed by British Cult Director Sidney Hayers boasts a powerful
all star cast led by horror heroine Suzy Kendall, a strong mystery plot, superb
directing, powerful scenes that shock and thrill. One of the All time great UK
films it is supreme in all departments and is out on a fabulous DVD. Rated 95/100.
It's all right; I wouldn't call it an all-time great. Suzy Kendall could rock a miniskirt, though. She's very good in Up the Junction, a very different film.

shareYeah, on intil watching i thought it 'so bad it's good' enjoyable, but then i read it was supposed to be like a giallo and thought, "ooooh damn, that's actually a really good film if that's the case."
A really unique British horror film, esp. for the time.
