Is there any other Killer Hippie flicks out there like this one. On the I drink your blood DVD they had a trailer for a film called "An American Hippie In Israel," but I couldnt find any copys of it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find a copy? and a list of any other films like this would be helpfull.

Watch Wes Craven's Last House On The Left (1972).

For real killer hippies like the Charles Manson murderers, watch Helter Skelter (1976 and 2004). Manson's hippie gang murdered pregnant Sharon Tate (Roman Polanski's wife) and their attending friends. A few days later the gang also killed two old people in the same neighborhood.

THERE'S A GREAT HIPPY/BIKER GRINDHOUSE GEM CALLED SATAN'S SADISTS (1968-70?). TROMA REISSUED IT ON DVD. I LIKE THE LOSERS (1970), TOO. FUNNY BIKER/HIPPY/VIETNAM ACTION *beep* TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. AND AWESOME.

I'm dying to see 'An American Hippie In Israel' - I've been trying to get hold of it forever. I uploaded the trailer on YouTube a few months ago and all I've found on it since online is people posting the *beep* thing on blogs and stuff (the trailer). Mate, if you find a copy, get in touch, cheers.

American Hippie in Israel is supposed to be released by Grindhouse soon. As far as I know it has never been released on video before. Until then, I'd suggest looking into the bootleg dvd ,that was telecined from one of the remaining reels. It's floating around the internet.

An American Hippie In Israel was originally called Ha- Trempist (or Hatrempist) in Isreal and The Hitch Hiker (1972) in English, Grindhouse made up the name American Hippie. Don't think it has ever been released on DVD and no clue if Grindhouse will release it or not.

I've heard there was a French VHS (with English dub) but can't find it anywhere.
