THE HOSPITAL (1970) writer Paddy Chayefsky Does The Opening Narration

Others have mention that Christopher Guest and John Belushi appear briefly in uncredited roles.

I think I saw Shelley Duvall sitting in the ER waiting room when Dr Drummond/Shaefer was describing taking the doctor with the induced heart attack to ER.

Here is a link to Shelley Duvall:

The credits say the narrator is Paddy Chayefsky, but it sure sounds like Stephen Elliott (the bald actor who played Dr. Sundstrom, the head of the hospital, the guy who capitulates to the Negroes toward the end of the film, before re-considering and going back in w/ George C. Scott where they resume their duties to the hospital and "the community").
