Couldn't concentrate while watching this movie

Yeah, I can´t stand the guy, either. Must be a damn good film when I´m able to rate it 8/10 despite having been subjected to watching that horse´s ass for neary 90 minutes.

I think you are exaggeraing a bit. Granted he is no Brad Pitt but he was really good as Harold. Actually I think he was born for this role.

I thought those first scenes were played by a boy. It wasn't until he was with the psychiatrist that he looked anything approaching adult. My repulsion of Harold grew less and less the longer the film carried on.

Ugly? He was adorable. Definitely cute.

 Bud Cort looked like a living doll here. I find it kind of absurd to hear him called ugly! I can see how some wouldn't find him attractive, but ugly? Never. However, I don't appreciate the flares and wide-lapel jackets he wore. Oh well, that was the style then!

I thought he was a little boy at the beginning but when he went to the shrimp and talked I started to notice he was maybe 20 something

This is one of those cases where someone is attractive/unattractive when you see a picture of them but once you meet them your perception of whether they are attractive or unattractive or not completely changes. If you are shown a picture of someone they appear very attractive but once you meet them you find what a terrible person they are and they annoy you so much you can't stand the sight of them let alone understand why you thought they were even attractive in the first place. I think Harold in this movie is the opposite of that. If you just saw a picture of him you would say he was unattractive, but over the course of the movie you get to know him and he becomes very attractive because of his sweet and vulnerable heart melting personality.

He looked like Cole Escola! Tell me I'm wrong.
