Is this the film where . . . .

The little girl (of toddler age) witnesses her mothers (?) death at the hands of the ripper as she watches from her cot? Also, does she go into a trance as an adult, and kills without remembering a thing? Man, I hope it is!

I've been hoping to catch it on telly again for some years now, and then find out the title of the bloody thing so I can track it down on tape, but now hopefully DVD it's been so long!

Anyways, if it is the correct film, it scared the living sh!t outa me when I was a kid! I remember being just a little older than the little girl in her cot when I watched it, so I can't really remember the plot, just the frightening imagery.

This is the film. She always goes into a trance when someone kisses her, and she sees something sparkly and blood flies! I have the video, but I think the DVD is available.

Thanks for that confirmation. Yeah, the DVD is available as part of a collection I think, so I managed to get just 'Hands of the Ripper' off ebay. I bid, and subsequently won it for 3 quid! Nice one ;)

Not surprised this scared you if you were only little! I saw it for the first time last night and it was uncomfortable but very good. The ending had me in tears!
