Kirk Douglas

I really liked Kirk Douglas in almost, if not all, the films I have watched him in..His energy as an actor that he brings to every character was something I really appreciated..and this film was 1 I enjoyed...

He made 3 movies that to me shared similar themes to this film...The Last Sunset with Rock Hudson..This film with Jonny Cash...and Draw with James Coburn..

A last gunfight with somebody he grew to like and respect.. in 1, The Last Sunset, he deliberately lost, in this 1 he was killed by a faster draw..and in the 1 he did not get killed, he was portrayed to lose so that he could go on and live out his life..

I am not sure I could pick a winner however..I liked all about equally and they had enough differences to make each unique..although I do feel the other 2 had stronger co-leads..
