'The Grissom Gang' stars !

I found the "Grissom Gang" a very intense, good movie.Aside from a few minor flaws.Kim Darby was excellant in the Barbara Blandish role.At that time for some one so young and just starting out in the business.Irene Dailey who played Ma Grissom so well she should have been nominated for an oscar.Irene is the talented sister of legendary actor Dan Dailey.Scott Wilson played Slim Grissom with a side of craziness and devoted love to his victim.Very good acting.Bravo to Tony Musante who played slick Eddie.Tony a talented actor with New York experience behind him.Connie Stevens who played Anna Borg with such ease wasn't emoting she was just being herself. No acting required.Too much makeup in the nightclub scene that made her look pasty.

Yeah, Darby, Dailey and Musante played fine, not to forget the guy who did Woppy. But indeed the real eye-opener was Scott Wilson. What a scorcher. F***ing brilliant.

I'm very glad you also liked the film.Since you liked Scott Wilson's performance see how good he still is.Scott is now 34 years older than the Grissom Gang movie but he's still great on a recurring role as one of the CSI-Las Vegas cast member's father. The music from the Grisson Gang was very twenties music.Songs like "I can't give you anything but love Baby" and "Ain't Misbehavin" were from that era..........

I'm afraid I'm not able to see the CSI series, as I live in The Netherlands. Checking his filmography though, I found that I've already seen more movies with Scott Wilson, like The Great Gatsby, Johnny Handsome and The Last Samurai. Yet I can't seem to remember his parts... But I've got Pearl Harbor on the shelf; think I'm gonna check that one out. :)

And yes, the music was very much to the point. Kudos to the musical director.

I'm surprised you don't get "CSI-Las Vegas" on your television station. It's CBS and that's goes all over the world. What part of Europe or ? are you from ? The music by the way if you liked it also is on tape. The movie is also......

Like I said, I live in The Netherlands (aka Holland). You know, the little country that's famous for its clogs, windmills, tulips, bicycles and pot-smoking capital Amsterdam (and for founding New York! - then known as Nieuw Amsterdam). We have cable tv and can only get other European stations (Britain, Germany, France etc.). Maybe with a satellite we could receive CBS, but I'm not sure about that. I've never heard Dutch people talk about being able to see American tv.

Scott Wilson is great in this one and a totally undervalued actor. He should have been nominated for IN COLD BLOOD and was also excellent in THE GREAT GATSBY and THE NEW CENTURIONS. Ralph Waite (the dad on The Waltons) is also good (also FIVE EASY PIECES).

Yeah, Scott Wilson and Kim Darby were both terrific in the leads. Irene Dailey was genuinely frightening as the venomous Gladys "Ma" Grissom. Tony Musante was likewise impessive as smooth heel Eddie. Kudos are also in order for Ralph Waite, Joey Faye, Connie Stevens, Wesley Addy, and especially Robert Lansing as shrewd private eye Dave Fenner.
