Is that Ide from the original ultraman series?

Allthough not credited, i want to know if the officer that recieves the phone call to inform him that hedorah has come onto land for the first time, is the same actor that played as Ide from the original ultraman series?

It must be too late to reply, but anyway,
the answer is No.

Ide was played by Masanari Nihei.

The police officer in question was played by Wataru Ômae.
